This shows that light practically powers life. The availability of light affects the existence and quality of life. If you compare the under-developed countries of this world, where you have epileptic power supply, to the developed countries, where there is uninterrupted power supply, you would realise that the difference in life’s quality is availability of light. Light powers life.

It has been said that the sun is at the exact position it should be to the earth. If you move the sun a little further away from its present position, the whole creation will freeze to death. Creation needs the sunlight to function properly. For example, lizards acquire energy from sunlight to move in the morning; eagles need sunlight to receive strength, plants receive energy in the form of sunlight to manufacture their food in the process called photosynthesis.

In our study today, I would like to itemise one point on the power of light.

It is the power of distinction.The power of light is the power of distinction.Isaiah 60:1 says, "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee".

Things stand out with light. And it is possible for things to die out without light. So, the power of light is the power of distinction.My counsel is, go for light, inspiration or revelation from the Scripture so you can stand out in your generation.

(WHAT WE SHOULD DO):

1. Make up your mind to go for light.

2. Be determined to stand out with light to impact your generation.
